Responsible for analyzing the solution options, working with business and IT to design, develop solutions and implementing the solutions.

Overview / Summary
The Windchill Developer will directly conduct analysis, create technical/functional specifications design, configuration, development, and testing of Windchill PDM Link (Version 13). Responsible for analyzing the solution options, working with business and IT to design, develop solutions and implementing the solutions.
Job Duties
Overall 10 years of experience
- Provide best practices to manage Configuration and customization activities
- Work with software vendors for technical support and software upgrades.
- Troubleshoot Windchill technical issues and perform remedial actions
- Work as a technical liaison between business, PLM Delivery Team and other IT teams
- Work as a key project resource for an IT Project Manager, taking day-to-day work direction and accepting accountability for technical aspects of development
- Identify appropriate tools and processes to enable smooth functioning of Windchill
- Design and develop tools to enhance Windchill System and Business administration
- Perform data migrations from other systems
- Excellent communication and customer service skills. Able to bridge communication between technical areas and business areas for a full and complete understanding of expectations
- Ability to multi-task efficiently on parallel efforts
- Ability to drive requirements and project work through to closure
- Experience in formal design review
- Experience in reviewing technical designs, and experience in code reviews - providing feedback on whether the technical design and code satisfies functional specifications
- Experience with implementing validated systems
- Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Ability to leverage and/or engage others to accomplish projects.
Overall 10 years of experience
- 5+ years designing, installing and configuring PTC Windchill PDMLink application
- Comprehensive technical knowledge of the Windchill application and its development environment.
- Strong experience in developing server side and User Interface enhancements
- Strong experience in Workflow, Lifecycle Management
- Strong Windchill configuration experience including Types, Attributes, ACLS, OIRS and Reports
- Strong experience in Java and web technologies.
- Experience with the Windchill Data migrations is a plus
- Working knowledge of Windows, Unix/Linux systems
- Working knowledge of Oracle database and SQL
- Experience with system integrations is a plus
- Experience with integrating Windchill into an ERP system; SAP integration is a plus.
- Understanding of CAD packages is a plus
