Role Description:
In-depth knowledge of operating system and understanding of orchestrators
Hands on experience on Aws and kubernetes , docker - containerization is must
Experience working with CICD tool like Octopus Azure
Experience working with montoring tools like dynatraceSplunkMouseflow
Strong troubleshooting skills
Experience with multi-threaded performance intensive applications
Familiarity with source control systems (GitTFS) and continuous build
Good experience in RDBMS(Oracle MSSQL)
Power user experience of using monitoring tools
App dev - ideally .net , other web environment will also do..
Agile methodologies would be useful
Devops automation - ANsible or other script
Good experience in RDBMS(Oracle MSSQL)
Strong Communication Skills
Good problem-solving skills
Ensure Availability of the application as per the SLO
Automation-Automate the repetitive tasks
Handle production issues which include understanding application code and be able to troubleshoot/debug code
Troubleshooting new errors logged after the releases
Setup new alerts and synthetics if required before the release
Should have knowledge about the environments and infrastructure and work in setting up the lower environments
Working with multiple to fix the issue
Forecast issues and bottlenecks to avoid any major impact to the application
Deploy applications using CICD
SRE role engineer should have application as well as devops experience.
