Title: Automation Platform Engineer
Location: Louisville, KY
Job Description:
4–7 years of hands‑on experience supporting automation platforms such as Terraform Cloud, Ansible Automation Platform (AAP), and Temporal.
Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles, automation execution environments, and workflow engines.
Working knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
Proficiency in scripting (Ansible, Terraform, GoLang) for automation and debugging.
Experience managing platform users, workspaces, service connections, and API tokens.
Ability to perform root‑cause analysis, handle L2/L3 escalations, and troubleshoot platform failures.
Understanding compliance standards, platform hardening, and best‑practice governance.
Ability to collaborate with engineering, security, and cloud platform teams. Strong documentation and communication skills.

This role focuses on onboarding enablement, platform administration, operational support, and continuous automation of internal processes.
The position operates with a high degree of autonomy under senior technical leadership and contributes to improving the scalability, reliability, and usability of internal automation platforms.
