Job Description
Role: Salesforce Technical Lead
Location: New York, NY – Onsite Role
Duration: 12+ Months
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop Salesforce components including Apex classes, triggers, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce pages, and integration services in line with established development standards.
Configure Salesforce objects, workflows, flows, approval processes, validation rules, page layouts, and security models to meet business requirements.
Collaborate with business analysts and functional consultants to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Develop and maintain integrations between Salesforce and external enterprise systems using REST and SOAP based services, middleware platforms, or API frameworks.
Support testing cycles by resolving defects and validating end to end user journeys.
Ensure optimal performance, security, and scalability of Salesforce applications in compliance with platform best practices and organizational guidelines.
Contribute to code reviews, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Work within Agile delivery frameworks, provide regular status updates, identify risks early, and propose mitigation actions.
Required Skills and Experience
Hands on experience in Salesforce development using Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, SOSL, and asynchronous processing models.
Strong experience in Salesforce configuration, including data models, flows, security settings, and automation.
Knowledge of Salesforce Clouds relevant to Financial Services, such as Financial Services Cloud, Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, or Experience Cloud.
Understanding of insurance processes including policy administration, underwriting, claims, billing, agent operations, and customer servicing workflows.
Experience with API integrations, authentication protocols, and common integration patterns.
Knowledge of CI/CD practices, Git based version control, secure coding standards, and deployment automation.
Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills, with experience working in distributed teams.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer, Administrator, or Consultant are preferred.
Prior experience in Financial Services and Insurance or other regulated enterprise environments is an added advantage.
