Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze and include custom data structures (Z-tables) in ILM scope
Develop custom archiving, retention, and deletion logic
Address technical limitations of standard SAP ILM capabilities
Support data extraction, reconciliation, and testing
Troubleshoot defects and optimize performance
Required Skills:
Strong hands-on ABAP development (enhancements, reports, debugging)
Hands-on experience with custom SAP objects (Z-tables)
Hands-on archiving object development and modification experience
Deep Performance tuning for high-volume data experience
Root cause analysis and debugging expertise
Communication & Personality Requirements (Critical):
Strong American English communication for daily collaboration with functional and ILM teams
Able to clearly explain technical issues, constraints, and solutions
Positive, solutions-oriented approach to problem solving
Flexible and adaptable in iterative/pilot environments
Collaborative team player with a proactive mindset
Role requires candidates who are highly professional, positive, and easy to work with. Clear American English communication is non-negotiable due to direct interaction with business, HR, legal, and audit stakeholders.
Candidates must be confident communicators, proactive, and solutions-oriented, with a strong ability to operate in compliance-driven environments.
