Job Description
Key Responsibilities
• Design and recommend network solutions that improve performance, resilience, and scalability.
• Architect and deploy LAN/WAN, data center, and cloud networking solutions across AWS and Azure.
• Install, configure, and manage routers, switches, voice gateways, firewalls, SSL VPN, wireless infrastructure, NAC platforms, and cloud networking components.
• Implement and support VLANs, routing protocols, QoS, DHCP, NTP, PoE, SNMP, FTP/TFTP, CDP, SSH, HTTPS, and AAA.
• Deploy and maintain Fortinet security appliances, Aruba ClearPass, IDS/IPS, SIEM integrations, and firewall hardening.
• Monitor network performance using SolarWinds, NetScout, and Wireshark.
• Serve as a Tier III escalation point and lead root cause analysis for complex network issues.
• Support MPLS, VPLS, DIA, VPN, QoS, and private line connectivity.
• Partner with infrastructure, security, and application teams while mentoring junior engineers.
• Maintain documentation, network diagrams, standards, and operational processes.
Required Skills & Expertise
• Deep understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NTP, HTTP/HTTPS, SMTP, SSL/TLS, LDAP, CIFS, HSRP/VRRP, and 802.1X.
• Enterprise routing and switching experience across Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, and Aruba environments.
• AWS and Azure cloud networking experience.
• Experience with SolarWinds, NetScout, Wireshark, ClearPass, SIEM, and IDS/IPS platforms.
Experience & Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of enterprise network engineering experience.
• CCNP or similar certifications preferred.
• Proven success supporting complex enterprise networking environments.
