Job Description
Key Responsibilities
· Lead the design and implementation of high performance scalable and resilient infrastructure solutions including networking storage compute and cloud technologies
· Create detailed architectural designs that align with application requirements ensuring safety and soundness in every layer of the infrastructure
· Provide strategic direction on cloud adoption migration strategies and optimizing resources for cost performance and security
· Collaborate with the security team to ensure infrastructure meets security requirements including access control encryption and network segmentation
· Evaluate and optimize infrastructure performance identifying areas for improvement and implementing cost effective solutions
· Ensuring high availability and disaster recovery solutions are in place to minimize downtime and maintain business continuity
· Work closely with development operations and security teams to align infrastructure with business goals and application requirements
Qualifications
· Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field
· 7 years of experience in IT infrastructure design architecture and operations
· Extensive knowledge of networking storage virtualization cloud technologies databases compute and security
· Hands on Architecture design configuration and fault tolerance experience across the following spectrum of technology products and platforms
· Database Caching Oracle SQL MongoDB HSM TDE encryption at rest o Compute Storage Windows Linux VMware NAS SDS and Object Storage
· Gateway Integration APIm DataPower NGINX NetScaler and PSG o Analytics Big Data Cognos Hadoop Spark and Teradata o Container Platforms OpenShift PCF Kubernetes and Docker
