Job Description
This contract role is responsible for supporting SharePoint Online and Power Platform environments, with a focus on troubleshooting complex issues and designing sites and workflow solutions to meet business requests. The role will work within established governance frameworks to deliver reliable, secure solutions and support business needs.
Essential Functions:
- Configure, administer, and optimize SharePoint Online, Power Platform, OneDrive for Business, and related Microsoft 365 collaboration services.
- Design and manage end-to-end SharePoint Online architecture, including information architecture (sites, hubs, metadata, taxonomy, and content organization).
- Implement and maintain site lifecycle management processes (provisioning, ownership, governance, archival, and decommissioning).
- Ensure high availability, performance, and secure configuration across all services in alignment with organizational standards.
- Advanced troubleshooting of SharePoint Online, Power Apps, and Power Automate solutions, including permissions, inheritance, access, workflow, connector, and content-related issues.
- Hands-on experience managing and deploying updates across Power Platform environments
- Establish and enforce Power Platform governance, including environment strategy, DLP policies, Center of Excellence (CoE) toolkit and usage monitoring to ensure secure, compliant, and scalable adoption.
- Automate administrative and operational tasks using PowerShell, Microsoft Graph API, and scripting tools.
- Support implementation of Microsoft Purview governance and compliance initiatives related to SharePoint and Power Platform solutions.
- Ability to independently investigate and resolve complex platform issues
- Monitor and report on performance, usage, and health of SharePoint and Power Platform solutions.
- Provide documentation and guidance to business users on platform capabilities and best practices
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps (ADO) for managing infrastructure, cloud, or Microsoft 365 initiatives. Ability to interpret work items, update task status, document requirements, participate in sprint ceremonies, and collaborate effectively with development and engineering teams.
- Partner with business stakeholders to design and implement SharePoint and Power Platform solutions that improve collaboration, automate processes, and enhance user experience.
- Monitor tenant health, usage trends, and service performance using M365 admin tools and reporting solutions.
Desired but not required: Experience with Microsoft Copilot for Microsoft 365, including adoption, governance, prompt development, and business use cases.
