Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced Techno-Functional Solutions Architect to serve as a Seller-Doer within our Hi-tech account portfolio. This strategic role combines pre-sales leadership with hands-on enterprise architecture delivery, requiring an industry expert capable of driving solution strategy, authoring winning proposals, and leading enterprise-scale digital transformation initiatives.
The ideal candidate will be equally comfortable engaging with C-level executives during pursuit phases and serving as a billable technical architect during implementation. Candidates with prior experience at Apple or other leading technology organizations are highly preferred.
Ex-Apple is preferred.
Mandatory Technical & Professional Skills
Candidates must meet all the following criteria to be considered:
- Experience: 15+ years in enterprise software delivery, with 5+ years strictly designing scalable microservices, API-first, and event-driven architectures.
- Legacy Modernization: Proven track record of breaking down legacy monolithic applications into distributed, containerized systems.
- Cloud Architecture: Deep expertise in AWS (preferred) or Azure, including container orchestration via Docker and Kubernetes (EKS/AKS).
- Polyglot Backend Depth: Hands-on architectural fluency in at least two: C#/.NET Core, Java, Python, or Node.js.
- Data & Messaging: High-throughput integration experience using Kafka or RabbitMQ, alongside SQL (PostgreSQL/SQL Server) and NoSQL (MongoDB/DocumentDB).
- Pre-Sales & Commercials: Demonstrated success writing RFPs/SOWs, creating effort estimations, pricing models, and presenting technical business cases to C-suite executives.
- AI Solutioning: Practical experience designing and implementing AI/GenAI solutions to drive operational efficiency and cost reductions.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary technical advisor during client pursuits, discovery sessions, and solution workshops.
- Design end-to-end enterprise architectures for large-scale digital transformation and modernization programs.
- Lead technical solutioning for RFPs, RFIs, proposals, Statements of Work (SOWs), effort estimation, and pricing models.
- Present technical strategies, solution roadmaps, and business value propositions to executive stakeholders and C-suite leadership.
- Architect scalable, cloud-native applications using microservices, APIs, containerization, and event-driven architectures.
- Lead modernization of legacy monolithic applications into distributed, cloud-native platforms.
- Design secure, resilient, and highly available solutions on AWS (preferred) or Azure.
- Provide architectural leadership during project delivery, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and best practices.
- Drive adoption of AI and Generative AI solutions to improve operational efficiency, automation, and cost optimization.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, delivery, and business teams throughout the solution lifecycle.
- Mentor development teams on architecture principles, cloud-native design, and engineering best practices.
