Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-grade Java applications.
- Build scalable, secure, and high-performance RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Develop cloud-native applications and deploy them on OpenShift and other cloud platforms.
- Develop responsive front-end applications using React.js and integrate them with backend services.
- Design and implement solutions using Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, and Spring Data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver technical solutions.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and BDD testing to ensure application quality.
- Monitor application performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement performance tuning.
- Prepare technical documentation, design documents, and deployment guides.
- Follow secure coding practices, ensuring compliance with PKI standards and OWASP security guidelines.
- Participate in code reviews and promote best practices in software design and development.
- Contribute to CI/CD processes and containerized deployments using OpenShift and Kubernetes.
Required Skills:
- 10+ years of hands-on experience in Java application development.
- Strong expertise in Core Java and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
- Minimum 5 years of experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, and Spring Data.
- Strong experience developing RESTful APIs and Microservices.
- Hands-on experience deploying applications on OpenShift and cloud platforms.
- Strong experience with React.js application development.
- Experience with Unit Testing, Integration Testing, and BDD frameworks such as JUnit and Cucumber.
- Good knowledge of relational databases, preferably MS SQL Server.
- Strong understanding of software design patterns and microservices architecture.
- Experience preparing technical documentation and solution design documents.
- Good understanding of application security, including PKI, authentication/authorization, and OWASP best practices.
- Experience analyzing and tuning application performance.
Preferred Skills:
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes.
- Experience with Apache Camel or Spring Integration.
- Exposure to NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Cassandra.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Familiarity with Enterprise Integration Patterns (EIP).
