Job Description
Scala Developer | Capital Markets & Trading Systems
We are looking for an experienced Scala Developer with deep expertise in Capital Markets and Front Office Trading Systems. This role would be Full-Time The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience building high-performance, low-latency, and scalable trading applications while working closely with traders, quantitative analysts, and technology teams.
This position has multiple location Openings (Plano, TX / New York City, NY / Jersey City, NJ)
Required Skills
✔ 10–15 years of software development experience
✔ Strong expertise in Scala and functional programming
✔ Experience with Akka, Play Framework, Cats, ZIO, or similar frameworks
✔ Capital Markets & Front Office Trading domain experience
✔ OMS (Order Management System) & EMS (Execution Management System) experience
✔ Real-time Market Data & Electronic Trading Platforms
✔ Event-Driven Architecture & Distributed Systems
