Job Description
We are looking for a highly experienced SAP FS-CD / FI-CA Techno-Functional Architect to lead the design and implementation of settlement and billing solutions. This role requires a strong architect who can define the target-state framework, lead design discussions, resolve complex business scenarios, and guide project teams on SAP standard best practices.The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SAP FS-CD (Financial Services Collections & Disbursements) / FI-CA (Financial Contract Accounting), including Business Partner architecture, Contract Accounts, settlement processing, billing integration, and financial postings.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end solution architecture for SAP FS-CD/FI-CA.
- Design and govern Business Partner, Contract Account, Contract Object, Main/Sub Transaction, and Posting Area frameworks.
- Define scalable and reusable configuration standards across workstreams.
- Architect complex Business Partner scenarios involving multiple roles and relationships.
- Design settlement processes for:
- Claim-level transaction-based settlements
- Fixed-rate/monthly recurring settlements
- Capitation and contract-based billing models
- Lead fit-to-standard workshops and identify configuration-based solutions.
- Provide architecture guidance for integrations across:
- FI-CA / FS-CD
- FI-GL
- Convergent Invoicing / BRIM
- Dunning
- Payment Runs
- Correspondence
- Mentor and support functional consultants on solution design and issue resolution.
- Support testing, data migration, cutover, go-live, and post-production activities.
Required Skills
- 10+ years of SAP experience with strong focus on SAP FS-CD/FI-CA.
- Multiple full lifecycle implementations from design through go-live.
- Deep expertise in:
- SAP FS-CD / FI-CA
- Business Partner (BP) architecture
- Contract Accounts
- Contract Objects
- Posting Areas
- Main & Sub Transactions
- Dunning Processes
- Payment Runs
- Installment Plans
- Strong understanding of:
- FPP1-FPP6
- FQC0 / FQC3
- FPVA / FPVB
- FPY1
- FP07
- FPN1-FPN3
- Experience with standard FS-CD APIs and posting interfaces.
- Ability to drive architecture decisions and communicate with business and technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- SAP BRIM / Convergent Invoicing experience.
- Experience with subscription, recurring, or contract-based billing models.
- Healthcare Payer, Insurance, or Utilities industry experience.
- Experience integrating FS-CD with external claims adjudication or billing systems.
- SAP FI-CA / FS-CD Certification.
- S/4HANA migration experience.
- Ability to review ABAP enhancements, BAdIs, and function modules.
