Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Glassbox Engineer to join our technology team in Charlotte, NC. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Linux administration, scripting, application hosting, and monitoring technologies, with a strong focus on Glassbox implementation and support. This role requires expertise in troubleshooting, automation, deployment management, and performance monitoring within secure enterprise environments.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Hands-on shell scripting and Linux system administration experience
- Hands-on Java application hosting on Linux experience
- Expertise in scripting languages such as Shell Script, BladeLogic NSH, Python, Perl
- Thorough understanding of server certificate implementation / TLS and how to troubleshoot connectivity issues
- Experience with Glassbox especially, but other monitoring tools such as Tealeaf, Splunk, SiteScope, etc.
- Experience with deployment tools such as BladeLogic, Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, Chef and/or AutoSys
- Experience working in a secure, multi-data center environment (including basic understanding of how firewall rules work)
- Strong debugging and analytical skills
- Strong network troubleshooting skills using various tools (Ping, nslookup, traceroute, curl)
- Good communication skills with ability to coordinate work between system admins, network engineers, end users and others to deliver solutions together
- Creative individual with a track record of working on and implementing innovative technology solutions
- Self-starter with the ability to deliver complex solutions with minimal oversight and supervision
- Working knowledge of regular expressions
