We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Anaplan Consultant / Techno-Functional Consultant with strong expertise in Anaplan. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Anaplan model building, testing, enterprise planning processes, data flows, integrations, and end-to-end validation across planning models and enterprise data platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Anaplan Functional & Technical Validation
- Review business requirements and user stories to create comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
- Validate Anaplan modules, lists, hierarchies, formulas, actions, and processes.
- Test model-to-model, model-to-data-hub, and model-to-target-system integrations using Anaplan Connect, APIs, Airflow, and related technologies.
- Perform regression, UAT, functional, integration, and performance testing across planning cycles and connected planning workflows.
- Lead end-to-end QA strategy for user stories and releases.
- Maintain test plans, traceability matrices, test execution reports, and defect management processes.
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners, business planners, data engineers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality releases.
- Drive quality reviews, root-cause analysis, defect resolution, and continuous process improvements.
Integration & Data Validation
- Test REST APIs, microservices, and integration layers connected to Anaplan and downstream systems.
- Perform schema validation, data integrity checks, reconciliation, and data lineage verification.
- Validate data ingestion, transformation, and processing across ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Work with technologies such as Azure Data Factory, Snowflake, Databricks, and other enterprise data platforms.
Required Skills & Competencies
Functional Skills
- Strong understanding of enterprise planning processes, including FP&A, Supply Chain Planning, Workforce Planning, Sales Planning, or related domains.
- Ability to translate business requirements and rules into detailed test scenarios and cases.
- Strong understanding of planning models, business processes, and end-to-end data flows.
- Ability to validate Anaplan model behavior against business requirements.
Technical Skills – Mandatory
- Strong hands-on experience with Anaplan.
- Expertise in Anaplan model structures, modules, lists, hierarchies, formulas, actions, processes, imports, exports, and UX.
- Strong knowledge of Anaplan ALM.
- Anaplan Model Builder Level 3 or higher certification is required.
- Strong functional and technical testing experience.
- Experience with API testing, data ingestion, scheduled jobs, and integration validation.
- Experience with end-to-end QA, regression testing, UAT, and defect management.

The ideal candidate is a Senior Anaplan techno-functional professional who can bridge business planning requirements with technical model validation, QA, data integration, and enterprise planning processes. Strong Anaplan Model Builder expertise combined with FP&A knowledge, ALM, testing, and integration experience is essential.
