Job Title: Sr. SAP Functional Analyst – RTR (R2R)
Role Overview
International Motors is seeking a Senior SAP Functional Analyst – Record-to-Report (RTR/R2R) to support a major financial transformation program centered around SAP S/4HANA.
This is a highly functional design and architecture-focused role for an experienced SAP FI/CO professional who can own complex finance solutions across configuration, integrations, enhancements, and business process design.
The ideal candidate will have deep expertise across SAP RTR, General Ledger, AP, AR, Revenue Accounting, Consolidations, Tax, Central Finance, and financial integrations, with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable S/4HANA solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and architect SAP S/4HANA RTR solutions across General Ledger, sub-ledgers, and period-end close.
- Support Central Finance (CFIN) and SLT replication scenarios, including configuration, data flows, and troubleshooting.
- Lead design and configuration of SAP Multi-Bank Connectivity (MBC), including bank integrations and payment formats.
- Own Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR) design, including contract management, performance obligations, and revenue recognition.
- Design and support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment runs, dunning, credit management, and cash application.
- Lead SAP tax configuration and integration with OneSource, including indirect tax, withholding tax, tax codes, and reporting.
- Own account determination across FI, CO, and integrated SAP modules.
- Support financial consolidation processes, including intercompany eliminations, currency translation, and Group Reporting.
- Contribute to CO-PA / Margin Analysis design and management reporting.
- Drive RTR enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Serve as the functional solution architect for finance integrations across SD, MM, and external systems.
- Work with IDocs, APIs, middleware, and integration frameworks.
- Collaborate with enterprise and domain architects to ensure alignment with overall architecture standards.
- Translate business requirements into scalable functional designs and solution blueprints.
- Participate in blueprint reviews, solution governance, and design decisions.
- Develop functional specifications, architecture documentation, and other solution design artifacts.
- Provide functional leadership and mentor team members on complex SAP Finance solutions.
- Support solutions through design, deployment, go-live, and post-production stabilization.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive hands-on SAP FI/CO and S/4HANA experience.
- Strong experience with SAP RTR/R2R processes and large-scale SAP implementations or transformation programs.
- Deep expertise in:

- Intercompany Accounting

- Hands-on experience with SAP Multi-Bank Connectivity (MBC).
- Strong experience with bank integration and payment format configuration.

- Experience with Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR), including BRF+ configuration, contract management, and revenue recognition.
- Strong understanding of account determination across FI and integrated modules.
- Experience with financial consolidation, intercompany processes, eliminations, and Group Reporting concepts.
- Strong integration experience involving SAP SD, MM, IDocs, APIs, and middleware.
- Experience working with enterprise architects and cross-functional architecture teams.
- Ability to own solutions from blueprint through deployment and stabilization.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to explain complex SAP Finance concepts and design trade-offs to both technical and business stakeholders.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- SAP Document and Reporting Compliance (DRC) experience.
- Experience with Mexico statutory reporting and CFDI/e-invoicing.
- SAP S/4HANA Finance certification.
- Strong CO-PA / Margin Analysis experience.
- Experience with SAP Group Reporting or BPC.
- Experience in industries involving complex revenue recognition or financial consolidation.
