Job Description
Software Engineer – Java Full Stack
We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer / Full Stack Java Developer with 12+ years of software development experience to join a team building and scaling a next-generation Travel Platform within a large enterprise environment.
The team currently supports approximately 20–30 applications and is working toward expanding platform adoption to approximately 200 applications by November 2026. The platform leverages existing internal tools and enterprise frameworks, including the Jules Pipeline, and operates across both AWS Cloud and private on-premises infrastructure.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java backend development, Spring Boot, REST APIs, AWS, Docker, and CI/CD, along with experience working in large-scale enterprise environments. Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude and GitHub Copilot is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable Java-based enterprise applications and services.
- Build robust and high-performance RESTful APIs and backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
- Develop full-stack solutions while maintaining a strong focus on backend architecture and service development.
- Deploy and manage applications across AWS Cloud and private on-premises infrastructure.
- Containerize applications using Docker and support modern deployment practices.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
- Collaborate with architects, developers, DevOps teams, product teams, and other engineering groups.
- Contribute to the expansion and adoption of the Travel Platform across a large number of enterprise applications.
- Work with distributed development teams and multiple stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools, including Claude and GitHub Copilot, to improve development productivity, code quality, and engineering efficiency.
- Troubleshoot application and production issues and support performance, reliability, and scalability improvements.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, system design, and engineering best practices.
- Ensure solutions meet enterprise standards for security, reliability, maintainability, and performance.
Required Skills
- 12+ years of professional software development experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Java
- Strong experience with Spring Boot
- Strong experience developing REST APIs / RESTful services
- Experience building enterprise-grade applications and services
- Experience with AWS
- Hands-on experience with Docker
- Experience with Jenkins and CI/CD
- Experience developing and deploying applications in large enterprise environments
- Strong backend development and software engineering skills
- Experience working with distributed development teams
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools, particularly:
- Claude
- GitHub Copilot
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
- PostgreSQL

- Go / Golang
- Previous experience with JPMorgan Chase (JPMC) is a plus
- Banking or financial services experience is a plus, but not required
