We are seeking an experienced SAP PP Technical Project Manager with strong Make-to-Order (MTO) experience to lead SAP implementation, rollout, upgrade, and support projects. The ideal candidate should combine strong SAP PP functional/technical knowledge with project management and team leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end SAP PP-MTO projects including implementation, rollout, upgrade, and AMS/support.
- Manage project scope, timelines, budget, resources, risks, dependencies, and overall delivery.
- Lead cross-functional teams across PP, SD, MM, QM, FICO, PP-DS/APO, and IBP.
- Drive solution design and configuration for MTO processes, including sales order planning, MRP, production orders, sales order stock, costing, and settlement.
- Manage integration with SAP SD, MM, QM, ATP, procurement, delivery, and billing.
- Review functional/technical specifications and ensure solution quality and SAP best practices.
- Lead SIT, UAT, cutover, data migration, go-live, and hypercare activities.
- Provide technical guidance and troubleshoot critical production issues.
- Manage onshore/offshore teams, vendors, and system integrators.
- Communicate project status, risks, issues, and progress to senior stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of SAP experience, including 5+ years in SAP PP.
- Strong experience with SAP PP Make-to-Order (MTO) processes.
- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA and/or ECC.
- Strong knowledge of MRP, production planning, production orders, sales order stock, and MTO costing.
- Good integration knowledge of PP, SD, MM, QM, and FICO.
- Experience with PP-DS/APO, IBP, MES, and Variant Configuration is a plus.
- Experience managing Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid projects.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
