Job Description
Java developer with DevOps experience
We are looking for a Java developer with DevOps experience in cloud infrastructure, CI/CD automation, and deployment management. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with AWS, Terraform, Jenkins, GitLab, and scripting technologies and be eager to contribute to automation and cloud engineering initiatives within a collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab.
- Support the deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of applications in AWS environments.
- Create and manage infrastructure using Terraform.
- Develop automation scripts using Python, Shell Scripting, or Java.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to improve deployment processes.
- Troubleshoot build, deployment, and infrastructure-related issues.
- Support CI/CD modernization efforts, including Jenkins to GitLab migration activities.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and operational best practices.
- Participate in production support and incident resolution as needed.
Required Skills & Experience
- 4 to 6 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Infrastructure Automation.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, Route53, and CloudWatch.
- Experience working with Jenkins and GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
- Working knowledge of Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management.
- Proficiency in Python, Shell Scripting, or Java for automation.
- Experience with Git and source code management tools.
- Basic understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with Linux administration and troubleshooting.
- Understanding of monitoring, logging, and deployment best practices.
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to Jenkins-to-GitLab migration projects.
- AWS certification is a plus.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
