Business Systems Analyst (EHS Systems Implementation)
Client is seeking an experienced Senior Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to support Phase 2 of its Enterprise Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Systems Transformation Program. This role will partner with EHS business stakeholders, IT teams, Quality, Compliance, and implementation partners to deliver and enhance solutions on the Cority GX2 platform.
The ideal candidate will have 9-10+ years of Business Systems Analysis experience and a proven track record delivering enterprise software implementations within regulated Life Sciences environments, including pharmaceuticals, medical devices, biotechnology, diagnostics, or healthcare. This individual will lead requirements definition, business process design, data migration, reporting, testing, and deployment activities while serving as a key liaison between business and technical teams.
Required Cority GX2 Experience
Candidates must possess hands-on implementation experience and functional expertise in multiple Cority GX2 modules, including:
- Occupational Health & Safety (OHS)
- Safety Management
- Incident Management
- Action Tracking
- Environmental Management Information Systems (EMIS) Reporting
- Risk & Corrective Action Management (RCE)
Candidates without direct implementation experience in these modules within a regulated Life Sciences environment will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead requirements gathering workshops and stakeholder discussions to define business, functional, and reporting requirements.
- Document and manage requirements, process flows, user stories, and functional specifications.
- Lead current-state and future-state business process mapping and process improvement initiatives.
- Support implementation and deployment of Cority GX2 modules, including fit-gap analysis, solution design, configuration validation, and user adoption.
- Partner with business, technical, and vendor teams to ensure successful delivery of requirements.
- Define and support data migration, data validation, and reporting activities.
- Coordinate and support SIT, UAT, defect resolution, and go-live readiness activities.
- Ensure compliance with GxP requirements and established Software Lifecycle (SLC) processes, including validation, traceability, testing, and change control documentation.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), or a related discipline; Master's degree (MS) or higher preferred.
- 9-10+ years of Business Systems Analysis experience supporting enterprise application implementations.
- Proven experience delivering software implementations within Life Sciences organizations, including pharmaceutical, medical device, biotechnology, diagnostics, or healthcare environments.
- Mandatory hands-on implementation experience with Cority GX2 and expertise across multiple GX2 modules listed above.
- Experience with other EHS platforms such as Intelex, Enablon, or Sphera is preferred.
- Strong experience with requirements gathering, business process analysis, data migration, reporting, testing, and change management.
- Familiarity with GxP-regulated environments, Computerized System Validation (CSV), and Software Lifecycle (SLC) documentation and processes.
- Experience supporting global or multi-site implementations is preferred.
- Strong analytical, communication, workshop facilitation, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively within cross-functional teams in a highly regulated environment.
Preferred Background: Cority GX2, EHS Systems, Life Sciences, Pharmaceuticals, Medical Devices, GxP Compliance, SLC/CSV Documentation, and Enterprise Digital Transformation Programs.
