Job Description
DevOps Engineer (AWS & Kubernetes)
We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in AWS Cloud, Kubernetes, and modern CI/CD practices. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, automating, and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines. This role requires hands-on experience with container orchestration, infrastructure as code, monitoring, and cloud security.
Required Skills
- 7+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, Cloud Engineer, or Site Reliability Engineer (SRE).
- Strong hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Extensive experience with Kubernetes (EKS preferred) and container orchestration.
- Strong experience with Docker containerization.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform or CloudFormation for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
- Strong knowledge of Linux system administration.
- Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
- Experience with scripting using Python, Bash, or Shell scripting.
- Knowledge of networking concepts including VPC, Load Balancers, Route53, DNS, VPN, and Security Groups.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, ELK, or Splunk.
- Experience with Git version control and branching strategies.
- Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Kubernetes Operators, Helm Charts, and service mesh technologies (Istio/Linkerd).

- CloudWatch
- Route53
- SNS/SQS

- Auto Scaling
- Knowledge of security best practices, IAM policies, secrets management, and compliance.

- AWS certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect Associate, AWS DevOps Engineer Professional, or Kubernetes CKA/CKAD certifications are highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage scalable AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters in production environments.
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated application deployments.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Monitor application and infrastructure health using CloudWatch, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, and application issues.
- Implement cloud security best practices, IAM policies, and secrets management.
- Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment processes and release automation.
- Optimize system performance, scalability, availability, and reliability.
- Maintain disaster recovery, backup, and high-availability solutions.
- Document infrastructure, deployment processes, and operational procedures.
