Job Description
We are looking for an experienced API Automation Tester with strong hands-on experience in the Karate Framework for REST and SOAP web services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated API test scripts using Karate Framework.
- Create and execute comprehensive test scenarios, test cases, and data-driven tests.
- Perform API validation including request/response verification, schema validation, authentication, and authorization testing.
- Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and GitHub Actions.
- Collaborate with developers, Business Analysts, and QA teams to understand requirements and ensure complete test coverage.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with development teams for timely resolution.
- Develop reusable test utilities, feature files, and automation frameworks.
- Validate backend data using SQL queries and perform end-to-end testing across integrated systems.
- Generate test execution reports, track quality metrics, and support release readiness.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous quality improvements.
