Job Description
Position Overview:
We are seeking a Technical Project Manager with a strong foundation in business analysis, tech stack estimation, and release planning. Unlike traditional high-level project management roles, this position requires a hands-on professional who understands core technology architecture and can collaborate directly with engineering teams to size, validate, and budget complex technical initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Sizing & Estimation: Collaborate directly with tech leads and architects to evaluate technical requirements, challenge assumptions, and produce accurate cost/effort estimates.
- Release & Budget Management: Build, maintain, and execute release roadmaps aligned with strict timeline milestones and allocated budget limits.
- Domain & Business Analysis: Unpack complex business use cases, identify core domain challenges, and translate business strategy into actionable engineering deliverables.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Act as the primary bridge between business stakeholders, product management, and development teams to maintain project alignment and risk mitigation.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in Technical Project Management, Business Analysis, or Technical Delivery.
- Tech Acumen: Proven ability to understand modern software architectures, development lifecycles, and technical dependencies to validate engineering estimates effectively.
- Planning & Financials: Solid track record in project scope sizing, release schedule planning, and budget management.
- Analytical Skills: Strong foundational BA skills (use case documentation, gap analysis, requirements gathering).
- Communication: Exceptional stakeholder management, facilitation, and cross-functional leadership abilities.
