Project Description
- 5 years of professional software engineering experience or equivalent practical experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
Skills Required:
- Experience designing and developing applications using Enterprise Java.
- Working knowledge of application security, transactional processing, and resilient system design.
- Hands on experience with the Spring framework, including Spring Boot and Spring Data JPA.
- Familiarity with build and dependency management tools such as Maven.
Messaging, Streaming & Caching
- Exposure to event driven architectures and messaging platforms such as Apache Kafka.
- Experience or familiarity with Redis for caching or data access.
- Understanding of basic caching strategies using Redis or Spring Cache.
Data & Persistence
- Experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or Aurora PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with database migration tools such as Liquibase.
- Understanding of SQL performance and basic data modeling concepts.
Cloud, Containers & DevOps
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms and deployment models (IaaS, PaaS).
- Exposure to containerized applications using Docker.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes or OpenShift concepts.
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and automated build/test processes.
Ways of Working
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams, using tools such as Jira.
- Strong problem solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Willingness and ability to learn new technologies and application domains.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, collaborative, and regulated environment.
