Job Description
Key Requirements:
- Strong hands-on experience with F5 BIG-IP LTM, GTM/DNS, ASM/Advanced WAF, and APM
- Experience with iRules (TCL), iApps, F5 AS3, DO, TS, and REST APIs
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, SSL/TLS, VLAN, SNAT, BGP, and OSPF
- Hands-on experience with tcpdump and Wireshark for packet-level troubleshooting
- Experience with F5 VE deployments on AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Experience with Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins/GitLab CI, and F5 automation
- Knowledge of WAF policy tuning, DDoS mitigation, bot management, zero-trust principles, and security hardening
- Experience with Splunk, ELK, Grafana, or F5 Analytics/AVR
- Strong experience troubleshooting L4–L7 application delivery issues, SSL handshake failures, persistence, and routing issues
- Experience with capacity planning, traffic analysis, and performance tuning
- Ability to provide L3 production support and participate in on-call rotations
The role involves designing and managing F5 LTM/GTM environments, developing iRules and traffic policies, implementing SSL/TLS termination, managing WAF policies, troubleshooting complex application delivery issues, and integrating F5 configurations with CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code workflows.
