Job Description
The Oracle EBS R12 Procurement Techno-Functional Consultant will be responsible for implementing, supporting, and optimizing Oracle E-Business Suite R12 Procurement solutions. The role requires extensive experience in Oracle Procurement modules, including Purchasing, iProcurement, iSupplier, Inventory, and Receiving, along with integration knowledge across ASCP, Manufacturing, HR, Order Management, and Logistics. The consultant will collaborate with business stakeholders, super users, and technical teams to deliver end-to-end ERP solutions, drive business process improvements, support system integrations, perform data migrations, and ensure successful project delivery throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Oracle EBS R12 Procurement implementations and support activities across multiple client engagements.
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements and translate them into functional and technical solutions.
- Conduct fit-gap analysis and design As-Is and To-Be business processes.
- Configure and implement Oracle Procurement modules, including Purchasing, iProcurement, iSupplier, Inventory, and Receiving.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support integrations with ASCP, Manufacturing, HR, Order Management, Logistics, EDI, and other third-party systems.
- Prepare functional specifications and assist in the development of technical designs and custom RICE (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions) components.
- Support data conversion and migration activities from legacy ERP systems to Oracle EBS R12.
- Develop and execute unit testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) plans.
- Conduct Conference Room Pilots (CRPs), end-user training sessions, and knowledge transfer activities.
- Provide post-go-live support, troubleshoot system issues, and coordinate Oracle Service Requests (SRs) with Oracle Support.
- Drive Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Outside Processing, Planning, Direct Purchasing, Expense Purchasing, and Drop Shipment process improvements.
- Participate in solution design, deployment planning, and production support activities.
- Research and recommend new Oracle functionalities, technologies, and best practices to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
- Effectively manage project scope, timelines, deliverables, risks, and stakeholder expectations.
- Work closely with business users, super users, and leadership teams to ensure successful adoption of Oracle solutions.
- Demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills while independently managing project priorities and deliverables.
Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years of Oracle EBS R12 implementation experience with a strong focus on Procurement.
- Minimum of 3 full lifecycle Oracle R12 implementation projects.
- Strong functional expertise (80%) with technical knowledge (20%).
- Hands-on experience in Procurement, Inventory, Receiving, iSupplier, and iProcurement modules.
- Experience with Oracle RICE components, data migration, and system integrations.
- Knowledge of EDI, AventX, and related third-party integration solutions.
- Proven ability to work with business stakeholders, super users, and end users in a fast-paced environment.
