Job Description
We are seeking an experienced AutoSys to manage support and optimize enterprise job scheduling and workload automation environments The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in CA AutoSys Workload Automation production support incident management job scheduling and automation best practices The role involves collaborating with application infrastructure and business teams to ensure reliable execution of critical business processes
Key Responsibilities:
Administer and support AutoSys Workload Automation environments
Design creates modify and monitor AutoSys jobs calendars workflows and dependencies
Troubleshoot job failures performance issues and scheduling conflicts
Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures
Manage AutoSys upgrades patching migrations and environment maintenance
Monitor workload performance and optimize scheduling efficiency
Collaborate with application teams to onboard and automate batch processes
Develop and maintain operational documentation runbooks and SOPs
Support production releases and ensure scheduling compliance
Provide L2L3 support and participate in on call rotation when required
Implement automation and scripting solutions to improve operational efficiency
Required Skills
Strong hands-on experience with CA AutoSys Workload Automation
Expertise in JIL scripting job definitions calendars and event processors
Experience with UNIX Linux and Windows operating systems
Knowledge of Shell Scripting BashKorn PowerShell or Python
Experience in production support and incident management
Understanding of scheduling concepts batch processing and workload automation
Familiarity with monitoring and ticketing tools such as ServiceNow Splunk or ControlM
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills
Experience with cloud platforms AWS Azure or GCP
Knowledge of ControlM Tidal or other enterprise schedulers
Experience with DevOps tools and CICD pipelines
Exposure to job automation using AI assisted operations and predictive monitoring
ITIL certification preferred
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science information technology or related field
7 years of experience in workload automation and scheduling support
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Nice to Have
Experience in financial services banking or large enterprise environments
Knowledge of enterprise batch architecture and dependency management
Exposure to automation frameworks and operational analytics
