Job Description
Responsibilities
Focus: Extracting terms from lengthy credit agreements and transforming them into tested, executable code at scale.
• Experience: A seasoned engineer with substantial, hands-on experience integrating with LLMs in production. The manager is looking for someone who can contribute immediately and advise the team—not someone whose experience is limited to using AI coding assistants.
• Relevant expertise: LLM integration, document chunking and context management, prompts and harnesses, pipelines and workflow orchestration, accuracy, testing, and governance for non-deterministic outputs.
• Technology: Python is especially relevant for integration with BNY’s internal Eliza API. The team uses existing LLMs; building a new LLM is not a requirement. Blockchain expertise is not required. Loans or banking experience is a plus, but AI expertise is the priority.
• Location: Dallas is preferred. Exceptional candidates in New York or London may also be considered. Candidates outside those locations should be prepared to relocate to Dallas.
• Interview process: Initial phone screen with David, followed by approximately two or three interviews, likely with two interviewers. Interviews will generally be on Teams.
