Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Backend API Developer with strong expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-performance APIs and microservices. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Java/Spring Boot, cloud-native architectures, containerization, event-driven systems, and CI/CD practices.

- Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and backend microservices.
- Build scalable, resilient, and secure API-driven applications.
- Develop event-driven solutions using messaging platforms such as Kafka.
- Design and implement API security, authentication, and authorization mechanisms.
- Create and maintain database schemas, stored procedures, and optimized queries.
- Deploy and manage applications in cloud and Kubernetes environments.
- Implement caching strategies using Redis or Memcached to improve performance.
- Collaborate with QA, DevOps, Product Owners, and Architects in Agile teams.
- Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and production support.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipeline automation and platform observability.
Required Experience
- 5–10+ years of backend application development experience.
- Proven experience building enterprise-grade APIs and microservices.
- Experience with cloud-native deployments and Kubernetes.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and scalability patterns.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong troubleshooting and production support skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Banking, Financial Services, or Enterprise Platforms.
- Knowledge of API management platforms such as Apigee.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Knowledge of secure coding practices and performance optimization.
- Exposure to AI/ML-enabled platforms and modern cloud services.
