Job Description

• 13+ years of software engineering experience
• Lead-level hands-on development and technical leadership
• Strong Java and/or Spring
• Experience with Spring Boot preferred
• Strong experience with React or comparable frontend framework
• Strong SQL and relational database experience with MySQL/PostgreSQL
• Strong understanding of full-stack architecture, REST APIs, and distributed backend systems
• Experience with Java, Kotlin, or Python and React/TypeScript
• Experience building and consuming REST and/or GraphQL APIs
• Experience with CI/CD, containerized deployments, and cloud services
• Experience with AWS preferred
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform preferred
• Experience with Kafka, Kinesis, or SNS/SQS preferred
• Strong production troubleshooting, incident response, and root-cause analysis skills
• Experience mentoring engineers and providing technical guidance
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Work arrangement: Glendale, CA or Seattle, WA — onsite 3–4 days/week with 1–2 days remote
• Advertising technology or media-processing experience is a plus
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor or Amazon Q Developer is a plus
