Job Description
Texas Woman’s University is seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer with strong Higher Education/University experience and a combination of
Salesforce development and Business Analyst skills.
The selected candidate will work with Salesforce Education Cloud and partner closely with functional teams across the university, including Admissions, Student Recruitment, Enrollment, and Student Services.
Critical Requirement
Higher Education or School experience is highly important for this position.
The client is also open to candidates who have developed or supported other CRM platforms in a Higher Education environment, including:
- TargetX
- Slate
- Dynamics/Dynamics 365
- Other Higher Education CRM platforms
Candidates with strong Higher Education CRM development experience may be considered even if their Salesforce experience is limited, provided they have relevant Higher Education experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, configure, customize, and maintain Salesforce solutions.
- Support and enhance Salesforce Education Cloud.
- Work closely with functional teams across Admissions, Student Recruitment, Enrollment, and Student Services.
- Gather and document business requirements from functional stakeholders.
- Translate business requirements into Salesforce technical solutions.
- Participate in requirements analysis, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
- Develop Salesforce integrations with internal and external systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Salesforce application issues.
- Collaborate with business users to understand workflows and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Participate in Salesforce development and configuration activities.
- Create technical and functional documentation.
- Support data, reporting, and integration requirements as needed.
- Act as a bridge between technical teams and university business/functional teams.
Required Experience
Salesforce Development
- Strong hands-on Salesforce development experience.
- Experience with Salesforce customization, configuration, and development.
- Ability to clearly explain the number of years of Salesforce development experience and the projects supported.
Salesforce Business Analysis
- Strong Business Analyst capabilities in addition to development experience.
- Experience gathering requirements directly from business/functional stakeholders.
- Ability to translate business requirements into Salesforce solutions.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
Higher Education Experience – HIGH PRIORITY
Candidates should have experience working in a Higher Education, University, College, or School environment.
Experience supporting functional teams such as:
- Admissions
- Student Recruitment
- Enrollment
- Student Services
is highly desirable.
Higher Education CRM Experience
Experience with Higher Education CRM platforms such as:
- Salesforce Education Cloud
- TargetX
- Slate
- Microsoft Dynamics/Dynamics 365
- Similar Higher Education CRM platforms
Candidates with CRM development experience in a Higher Education environment may also be considered.
