Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Lead Automation Tester with strong hands-on expertise in Selenium, Java, Cucumber, REST Assured, and API Testing. The ideal candidate will have strong experience designing and maintaining automation frameworks, executing end-to-end testing, and leading a QA automation team.
The candidate should be technically strong and capable of team handling, mentoring QA engineers, defining automation strategies, and coordinating testing activities across Agile projects.

Required Experience
- 8+ years of overall QA/testing experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on automation testing experience.
- Strong experience with Selenium WebDriver and Java.
- Strong experience developing and maintaining automation frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with Cucumber/BDD.
- Strong experience with REST Assured and API automation.
- Experience testing REST APIs and validating request/response payloads.
- Previous experience leading or mentoring QA/automation engineers.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead the QA automation team and coordinate daily testing activities.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Selenium and Java.
- Develop BDD automation scenarios using Cucumber.
- Create automated API tests using REST Assured.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Develop reusable automation scripts and improve test coverage.
- Review automation code and ensure coding/framework standards are followed.
- Identify opportunities to automate repetitive manual testing processes.
- Analyze test failures and work closely with developers to resolve defects.
- Prepare test strategies, automation plans, and execution reports.
- Mentor junior and mid-level QA engineers.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and defect triage.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product owners, and other stakeholders.
- Support CI/CD integration of automated test suites.
