Sr. OTL / Time & Labor (HCM) Functional Consultant
Role Overview
- Position Title: Sr. OTL / Time & Labor (HCM) Functional Consultant / Lead
- Domain: Oracle Cloud HCM (Fusion)
- Industry: Aerospace & Defense
- Location: Remote (with ~25% travel to Torrance, CA – all travel expenses covered)
- Work Authorization: US Citizen (USC) or Green Card (GC) required due to defense compliance standards
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the functional design, configuration, and implementation of Oracle Fusion Time & Labor (OTL) integrated with Oracle HCM Cloud and Payroll modules.
- Gather business requirements, conduct fit-gap analysis, and build functional specification documents (FDDs).
- Configure complex time entry rules, time card layouts, shift diffs, overtime rules, and approval workflows tailored to defense industry compliance.
- Drive end-to-end testing phases (UAT, SIT), user training, change management, and post-go-live hypercare support.
- Collaborate closely with technical teams for integrations, data migration, and custom reporting (OTBI / BI Publisher).
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in Oracle HCM, with a strong focus on Oracle Fusion Time & Labor (OTL).
- Hands-on Expertise: Proven experience leading full-lifecycle Oracle Cloud OTL implementations in complex manufacturing or aerospace environments.
- Domain Knowledge: Understanding of labor distribution, union/non-union pay rules, and strict timekeeping/compliance regulations typical of Aerospace & Defense.
- Communication: Excellent client-facing presentation and stakeholder management skills.
