Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Manager to lead our platform development and framework initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in quality assurance automation, with a specific focus on utilizing Playwright for testing. This role requires a strategic thinker who can drive quality processes and ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. 
 
Responsibilities:
Lead the design, development, and implementation of automated testing frameworks using Playwright.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define testing requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Develop and maintain automated test scripts, ensuring they are efficient, reliable, and maintainable.
Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams to resolve issues.
Establish and enforce best practices for QA automation processes and methodologies.
Mentor and guide junior QA team members in automation techniques and tools.
Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Prepare and present test reports and metrics to stakeholders, highlighting quality trends and areas for improvement.
Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in QA automation and testing tools.  
 
Mandatory Skills:
Proficiency in Playwright for automated testing.
Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
Experience in developing and maintaining automated test frameworks.
Solid programming skills in languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python.
Ability to analyze complex systems and identify testing requirements.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.  
 
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices.
Experience with other testing frameworks and tools.
Knowledge of performance testing and security testing.
Understanding of Agile methodologies and practices.
Experience in mentoring and leading QA teams.  
 
Qualifications:
A bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
Relevant certifications in QA automation or software testing are a plus.
