Job Description
The role focuses on building, automating, and managing infrastructure platforms through code. The ideal candidate should have strong experience with network automation, configuration management, CI/CD pipelines, and both physical and virtual network infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain Network as Code solutions.
- Work with tools such as GitLab, Terraform, Ansible, Itential, and NetBrain.
- Integrate Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and network automation with CI/CD pipelines.
- Automate system configurations and maintain consistency across environments.
- Implement monitoring and logging solutions for infrastructure and network reliability.
- Handle engineering, implementation, configuration, and maintenance of systems infrastructure.
- Identify performance bottlenecks and perform root cause analysis.
- Develop and improve troubleshooting procedures.
- Analyze performance and utilization data and provide optimization recommendations.
- Follow Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) practices and apply a strong DevOps mindset.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Strong experience with Network Automation / Network as Code.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform and/or Ansible.
- Experience with GitLab and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong understanding of physical and virtual network infrastructure.
- Experience with configuration management and infrastructure automation.
- Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and performance optimization skills.
- Understanding of SDLC and DevOps methodologies.
Preferred
- Experience with Itential or NetBrain.
- Experience delivering infrastructure solutions as products.
- Strong monitoring, logging, and infrastructure reliability experience.
