Job Description
Java Architect – Banking
We are looking for an experienced Java Architect with strong banking/financial services domain experience to design and develop scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, and distributed systems, along with the ability to provide technical leadership and architectural guidance.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable Java-based enterprise applications.
- Define application architecture, technical design, and development standards.
- Lead the design and implementation of Microservices and REST APIs.
- Provide technical guidance to Java development teams.
- Review application architecture, code, and technical solutions.
- Work closely with business, product, and engineering teams.
- Troubleshoot complex technical and performance issues.
- Ensure applications meet security, scalability, reliability, and performance requirements.
Required Skills
- 10+ years of experience in Java/J2EE development.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java 8/11/17+.
- Excellent knowledge of Spring / Spring Boot.
- Strong experience with Microservices Architecture.
- Experience developing RESTful APIs.
- Strong understanding of Design Patterns, OOP, and Distributed Systems.
- Experience with SQL / Oracle databases.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise application architecture.
- Excellent communication and technical leadership skills.
- Banking / Financial Services domain experience is required.
Preferred Skills
- AWS or Azure cloud experience.
- Kafka / messaging technologies.
- Docker / Kubernetes.
- CI/CD and DevOps practices.
- Experience with high-volume transaction processing systems.
