Job Description
· Moving API’s from on prem to GCP
· Will be moving around projects but apis are the same
· Drug api, member api, benefits api, etc. – they will be focusing on member data APIs
o The api development isn’t the hard part its understanding the member data
o This is where the PBM background is helpful so they can understand they data they are connecting
· There is a rotating on call, very infrequent one week maybe once every 2 months, will get called overnight and on the weekends
· Releases are once a month Thursday nights and leader of the release is on a rotation
· 11-2 or 3 am so it is overnight, but they can get a later jump on that next day to get some sleep
What Will Win (formerly known as “Nice-to-Haves”):
- Need strong Java/Springboot, then WS02 (small amount of exp is fine) and then Kong
- Kong, then wso2 then ws02 AND Java springboot
· pharma/pbm bg
o Fhir experience - specific data transition regulations for pharma
· Cloud - preference for GCP but AWS can work
· Dynatrace for api monitoring and synthetic testing, appdynamics will work too
Soft Skill Requirements
·good communication
·Team has good devs but they don't think out of the box, would love someone who can look at the bigger picture and speak back when they have a suggestion for improvement, things like that
