Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Enterprise Architect to define enterprise technology strategy and lead complex modernization and transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will partner with business and technology leaders to develop target-state architectures, technology roadmaps, and scalable solutions that improve security, interoperability, operational performance, and business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain enterprise architecture principles, standards, reference architectures, and multi-year technology roadmaps.
- Translate business capabilities and strategic priorities into current-state, target-state, and transition architectures.
- Provide architectural leadership across applications, data, cloud, infrastructure, security, and integration domains.
- Lead architecture assessments, design reviews, technology evaluations, and architecture governance forums.
- Guide application modernization, cloud adoption, API strategy, platform transformation, and enterprise integration initiatives.
- Collaborate with security, risk, and compliance teams to address architectural risks and regulatory requirements.
- Engage executive stakeholders, align cross-functional teams, and mentor architects and technical leaders.
- Ensure technology decisions support enterprise business objectives, scalability, security, and long-term sustainability.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 14+ years of overall technology experience, including at least 5 years in Enterprise Architect, Principal Architect, or Lead Architect roles.
- Proven experience defining enterprise technology strategies, architecture roadmaps, and transformation plans.
- Strong understanding of application, integration, cloud, data, infrastructure, and security architecture.
- Demonstrated experience leading complex, enterprise-scale modernization initiatives.
- Excellent executive communication, stakeholder management, facilitation, and decision-making skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in healthcare, managed care, health insurance, payer/provider environments, or other highly regulated industries.
- Experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Knowledge of healthcare interoperability, API ecosystems, and data or AI platforms.
- Relevant certifications such as TOGAF, AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Professional Cloud Architect, CISSP, or SAFe Architect.
