Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with strong experience in enterprise application development, data technologies, cloud platforms, and modern software engineering practices. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Java and/or Python, databases, front-end development, CI/CD, Kubernetes, automated testing, and reporting tools.
Required Skills
- Application Development: 9+ years of experience with Java and/or Python, enterprise applications, web services, and APIs.
- Databases & Data Technologies: 7+ years of experience with PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle, Kafka, NiFi, and/or Elasticsearch, including strong SQL skills.
- Front-End Development: 2+ years of experience with Angular, React, and JavaScript.
- CI/CD & Build Automation: 5+ years of experience with Maven, Gradle, and Jenkins.
- Cloud & Kubernetes: 4+ years of experience with cloud platforms and Kubernetes; GCP preferred.
- Test Automation & Monitoring: 4+ years of experience with automated testing, SRE monitoring, and synthetic monitoring.
- Reporting: 2+ years of experience with SSRS Reporting and Power BI.
Preferred Skills
- Mortgage capital markets experience.
- Tidal or Apache Airflow for job scheduling and orchestration.
- Dynatrace for application monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance analysis.
- Agile methodology and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
Education & Soft Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience. Strong communication, problem-solving, teamwork, and collaboration skills are required.
