Job Description
We are seeking a hands-on Senior .NET Integration Engineer to design, develop, and support enterprise applications and integrations connecting Workday data with third-party applications and internal business systems.
The ideal candidate will have recent, practical experience with C#/.NET Core, AWS cloud services, API-based integrations, Terraform, and containerization. This position requires someone who can demonstrate how they have used these technologies in recent projects—not simply list them on a resume.
Workday experience is highly desirable but not required. Candidates with comparable enterprise integration experience who can quickly learn Workday integration capabilities will also be considered.
Qualifications
• Previous experience integrating Workday with internal or third-party applications.
• Experience with comparable HR, finance, ERP, or enterprise data integration platforms.
• Strong understanding of cloud application architecture and infrastructure automation.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across technical and business teams.
Required Technical Skills
Candidates must demonstrate the following skills, particularly in their most recent roles:
• C# / .NET / .NET Core: 5+ years of professional experience with hands-on application and service development.
• AWS Cloud: Recent, hands-on cloud experience beyond using isolated AWS functions. Candidates should understand cloud-based application architecture and deployment.
• API Development & Enterprise Integration: Experience developing, integrating, and supporting REST APIs and SOAP web services across enterprise applications.
• Terraform / Infrastructure as Code: Recent, hands-on experience writing, modifying, maintaining, or managing Terraform configurations and infrastructure.
• Containerization: Practical experience with containerization technologies, preferably Docker. Docker is not mandatory if equivalent containerization experience is demonstrated.
• Source Control: Experience with version control and collaborative software development practices.
• Troubleshooting: Strong debugging, problem-solving, and integration support capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications and services using C# and .NET Core.
• Build and support integrations between Workday, third-party applications, and internal business systems.
• Develop and maintain REST APIs and SOAP-based integrations.
• Implement cloud-based application solutions using AWS.
• Write, update, and maintain Terraform configurations to provision and manage infrastructure.
• Build and support containerized applications using Docker or comparable technologies.
• Troubleshoot integration failures, API issues, infrastructure problems, and application defects.
• Collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders to translate integration requirements into reliable solutions.
• Follow modern software development practices, source control standards, and collaborative delivery processes.
• Support the reliability, scalability, maintainability, and performance of enterprise integrations.
Important Screening Requirements
The client has received numerous resumes that list the required technologies but do not demonstrate sufficient hands-on expertise during technical screening.
Candidates must be able to explain specific examples of their recent work with:
1. C#/.NET Core application development.
2. AWS cloud architecture, implementation, or deployment.
3. REST/SOAP API development and enterprise integrations.
4. Terraform configuration development or maintenance.
5. Containerization technologies.
