Job Description
We are seeking an experienced SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) / Integration Suite Consultant to support a large-scale, complex SAP S/4HANA implementation for the Client. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing integration scenarios between the new S/4HANA environment and various cloud and on-premise legacy systems. You will leverage the full capabilities of the SAP BTP and Integration Suite to build robust, scalable, and secure interfaces that are critical for end-to-end business processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop integration flows (iFlows) using SAP Integration Suite to connect S/4HANA with third-party applications and legacy Client systems.
- Act as a technical advisor to functional and application development teams on integration strategy and best practices.
- Configure and manage API endpoints using SAP API Management and develop custom applications using the SAP BTP, Kyma and Cloud Foundry runtimes.
- Collaborate with security teams to implement and enforce security policies for all integrations.
- Create detailed technical documentation for all developed interfaces, including mapping logic and error-handling procedures.
- Monitor and troubleshoot integration flows during testing and post-go-live, ensuring the reliability and performance of all interfaces.
Role Requirements and Qualifications:
- Technical Fluency: At least 5 years of experience in SAP integration technologies, with a strong focus on SAP BTP and Integration Suite (formerly CPI). Proficient in developing iFlows, working with various adapters (ODATA, SOAP, REST, JDBC), and using Groovy scripting.
- Architectural Mindset: Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns, API-led connectivity, and event-driven architectures.
- Collaborative Experience: Ability to work closely with functional consultants, application developers, and legacy system owners to define and deliver integration requirements.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex integration issues.
