Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Authorization Framework Integration Engineer to work closely with Application Architects, development teams, security teams, and data engineers to support the integration of an enterprise authorization solution across applications and cloud-based data platforms.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of application architecture, authentication and authorization concepts, REST API integration, and hands-on experience testing authorization policies using tools such as Postman. Familiarity with Databricks, Snowflake, and Azure Synapse Analytics is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Application Architects and development teams to understand application architecture, integration patterns, and security requirements.
- Evaluate application designs and recommend suitable approaches for integrating enterprise authorization services.
- Guide development teams on how to invoke authorization services from different application architectures.
- Test and validate authorization policies using REST APIs and tools such as Postman.
- Troubleshoot authorization issues by analyzing API requests, responses, policy evaluations, and access-control scenarios.
- Support the implementation and adoption of enterprise authorization frameworks across applications and data platforms.
- Work closely with security, application development, and data engineering teams to ensure secure and effective integration.
- Understand cloud-based data platform architectures and identify authorization integration requirements.
- Assist teams in validating access-control behavior and resolving integration-related issues.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working with application architecture, application integration patterns, and enterprise security solutions.
- Strong understanding of authentication, authorization, access control, and API security concepts.
- Hands-on experience with REST APIs and API testing tools such as Postman.
- Ability to analyze API requests and responses and troubleshoot authorization policy evaluation issues.
- Experience collaborating with Application Architects, developers, security engineers, and technical stakeholders.
- Working knowledge of cloud-based enterprise application environments.
- Familiarity with modern data platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, and Azure Synapse Analytics.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
