Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Java Front-End Developer with strong expertise in Next.js, React.js, TypeScript, and modern front-end development technologies. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience building scalable, responsive, and high-performance web applications and integrating front-end solutions with Java/Spring Boot backend services and REST APIs.
The candidate should possess hands-on experience with Next.js architecture, including Server-Side Rendering (SSR), Static Site Generation (SSG), Incremental Static Regeneration (ISR), state management, authentication, and automated testing. Experience developing enterprise-grade applications and collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable, responsive, and high-performance web applications using Next.js and React.js.
- Build reusable UI components, front-end libraries, and maintainable application architectures.
- Implement Next.js features, including App Router, Server-Side Rendering (SSR), Static Site Generation (SSG), Incremental Static Regeneration (ISR), and API Routes.
- Integrate front-end applications with Java/Spring Boot backend services, REST APIs, and microservices.
- Collaborate with backend developers to define API contracts, troubleshoot integration issues, and ensure seamless data exchange.
- Implement efficient state management using Redux Toolkit, Context API, Zustand, or similar libraries.
- Develop secure authentication and authorization workflows using OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), and JSON Web Tokens (JWT).
- Optimize application performance, page load times, SEO, accessibility, and overall user experience.
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility, responsive design, and compliance with accessibility standards.
- Write and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests using Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Participate in code reviews, debugging, technical design discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Work closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, architects, and engineering teams to deliver business requirements.
- Follow modern development practices using Git, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in front-end or full-stack software development.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience developing and maintaining production applications using Next.js and React.js.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
- Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, responsive web design, and modern front-end development principles.
- Hands-on experience with Next.js App Router, SSR, SSG, ISR, and API Routes.
- Experience with UI frameworks and component libraries such as Tailwind CSS, Material UI, Bootstrap, or Ant Design.
- Strong experience integrating front-end applications with Java/Spring Boot backend services and REST APIs.
- Experience with state management solutions such as Redux Toolkit, Context API, or Zustand.
- Knowledge of authentication and authorization protocols, including OAuth 2.0, OIDC, and JWT.
- Experience with front-end testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Proficiency with Git, GitHub, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and version control best practices.
- Understanding of web application security, performance optimization, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized application deployments.
- Experience with enterprise-grade Java/Spring Boot microservices architectures.
- Knowledge of GraphQL and modern API integration patterns.
- Experience building SaaS, multi-tenant, or B2B enterprise applications.
- Familiarity with performance monitoring, logging, and observability tools.
- Exposure to DevOps practices and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Experience developing AI-enabled web applications and modern front-end architectures.
- Knowledge of Progressive Web Apps (PWA), SEO best practices, and WCAG accessibility standards.
