Job Description
SAP PaPM Architect / Lead Developer
We are seeking an experienced SAP PaPM Architect / Lead Developer to lead solution architecture, design, and development of SAP Profitability and Performance Management (PaPM) solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in SAP PaPM, financial allocation models, profitability analysis, and SAP S/4HANA integration.
This role requires a combination of technical architecture, hands-on development, and technical leadership, with the ability to collaborate with Finance and business stakeholders to deliver scalable and efficient solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end SAP PaPM solution architecture across cloud and on-premise environments.
- Define technical architecture, allocation frameworks, integration strategies, and deployment approaches.
- Provide technical leadership to developers and modelers.
- Conduct design reviews, code reviews, and model governance reviews.
- Collaborate with Finance and business stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Work with SAP S/4HANA actuals and planning tables, including ACDOCA and ACDOCP.
- Design, develop, and optimize allocation models, driver calculations, profitability models, and transfer pricing models.
- Implement cost and revenue allocation models and reconciliation frameworks.
- Configure sender/receiver structures and multi-level allocation hierarchies.
- Develop and maintain SAP PaPM functions, including:
- Allocation Functions
- Formula Functions
- Lookup Functions
- Aggregation Functions
- Assignment Functions
- Iteration/Circular Allocation Functions

- Ensure solution scalability, performance, accuracy, and compliance with model governance standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP Profitability and Performance Management (PaPM).
- Expertise in SAP PaPM solution architecture and technical design.
- Experience developing complex allocation models, profitability models, and transfer pricing solutions.
- Strong understanding of cost allocation, revenue allocation, driver calculations, and financial reconciliation.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA and financial tables such as ACDOCA and ACDOCP.
- Hands-on experience with SAP PaPM functions and multi-level allocation hierarchies.
- Experience working across cloud and on-premise environments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and technical leadership skills.
Preferred Candidate Profile:
- Senior-level SAP PaPM professional with both architecture and hands-on development experience.
- Ability to work independently and lead technical delivery.
- Experience partnering with Finance teams and business stakeholders.
