Role : SQL Developer with capital market domain

Location: NYC, NY( Hybrid Role )

Type : Contract Role

Job Description:

• Bachelors or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• 7+ years of experience in database and/or data warehouse development
• Strong experience with Oracle 12+ and SQL Server 2017+
• Experience with advanced SQL or PL/SQL, such as procedures, window functions, CTE’s, etc…
• Experience with Data warehouse concepts such as data modelling , error handling, and reconciliation
• Experience optimizing SQL queries including execution plans, hints and indexes
• Strong analytical skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret business needs and translate them into application requirements

Desirable Skills

• Knowledge of financial services with a preferred understanding of the asset management business and accounting processing
• Development experience with Cloud databases like Snowflake, Redshift, Databricks.
• Development experience with ETL Tools like Informatica, FiveTran, SSIS
• Working experience with SSRS
• Experience with automated database testing tools
