Data Architect
Location: Bay area preferred CA

• Strong hands-on experience with at least 3 full life cycle implementations on Oracle SQL and PL/SQL (Or other leading RDBMS such as MySQL or SQL Server), data modeling, and design.
• Hands on experience in data warehouse/ Lake house design with different sets of business data and generating common unified reporting solution.
• Strong experience is data security, provisioning, performance tuning of data warehousing solutions.
• Solid understanding of data architecture, standards, and data governance in relational and non-relational databases
• Hands-on experience using one or more scripting languages (e.g., Python, bash, etc.)
• Working knowledge of ETL/ELT/data pipeline development, using industry-standard tools such as Talend.
• Working knowledge of data lake house reference architectures and common data processing architectures (Lambda, Kappa)
• Basic experience/ knowledge on modern distributed technologies such as Spark SQL, Hadoop, Presto, Hive, Kafka, Cassandra, Redshift or other equivalent solutions
• Experience with Data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and written/verbal communication skills with the ability to document and communicate technical information to IT Leadership, the business, developers, and support staff.
• Good to have - design and development experience in cloud-based Data Warehousing, Data Lake & Analytics Platforms like Azure, GCP, AWS and relevant Data storage/ analysis toolsets.
