Job Description
Must-have skills: 2-10 y exp as a QA Automation Engineer doing manual and automated testing; at least one programming language, such as Java, Python, or JavaScript; exp using automated testing tools and frameworks, such as Selenium, Appium, or Cypress; Leadership and mentoring experience (only for NEEJP00016498, more sr role)
Additional information: The candidate should be able to provide an ID if the interview is requested. The candidate interviewing must be the same individual who will be assigned to work with our client.
Requirements:
* Availability to work 100% at the Client’s site in Juno Beach, FL (required);
* Experience in software test engineering (2+ years);
* Experience in software testing and automation (8+ years in absence of degree);
* Experience using at least one programming language, such as Java, Python, or JavaScript;
* Experience with testing frameworks for APIs, databases, and other backend systems;
* Experience using automated testing tools and frameworks, such as Selenium, Appium, or Cypress;
* Experience with Agile development methodologies and practices;
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
For Senior position:
* Experience in software test engineering while mentoring (3+ years with Bachelor’s degree or 10+ years without degree);
* Leadership and mentoring experience.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
* Be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software releases, via manual and automated testing.
* Design, develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks using industry-standard tools and frameworks
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, reproduce and resolve defects and bugs
* Work with others to design and implement scalable and robust software solutions
* Participate in sprint planning, daily scrum meetings; and retrospective sessions
* Ensure all test cases are executed and documented according to best practices and company standards
* Analyze and report on test results, identifying areas for improvement
