Position: Disaster Recovery Project Manager with Healthcare exp

Job Summary:

As a Disaster Recovery PM you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and managing disaster recovery (DR) strategies to ensure an organization's IT infrastructure and business operations can recover quickly and efficiently from disruptions or catastrophic events, with expertise in project management, IT systems, and business continuity planning.

Experience: 10+ years of experience in disaster planning and business recovery & Healthcare Exp 2-3 Years Min

Tools and Platforms:

Backup & Recovery Tools, Monitoring & Alerting, Project Management tools (JIRA, Agile, Microsoft Project), Cloud Services: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud (for DR in hybrid environments). Client-server platforms-Webservers, Application servers, DB server Platforms, Communication server platforms, Mainframe-IBM, Unisys.

DR Build Tools: IBM GPS, IBM Copy Services Manager (CSM), BMC Recovery Manager for IMS/DB2, CA Mainframe Operational Intelligence (Broadcom), IBM Spectrum Protect

DR Testing Tools: IBM Z System Automation, IBM Z Batch Resiliency, XDR (Extended Disaster Recovery Testing) Solutions, Virtual Tape Libraries (e.g., IBM TS7700), Syncsort Disaster Recovery Solutions, MainView Disaster Recovery (BMC).

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Leads and establishes business continuity programs and business resumption planning across mainframes and larger more complex client server platforms to ensure business continuity.
• Interfaces with clients, vendors and senior management to develop and monitor business continuity plans and procedures for larger and more complex projects.
• Leads and monitors simulation testing for platforms and assists in planning and organization of recovery tests.
• Manages and prepares pre-test objectives and post-test reports for clients and senior management.
• Develops and recommends, and when approved, oversees the implementation of alternative approaches.
• Leads investigations, documents, implements and maintains business continuity plans to meet customer needs.
• Advises, formulates and reviews activities of multiple crisis management teams to ensure that business continuity plans are implemented consistently across business units/projects.
• Leads initiatives and develops awareness incentives to ensure that clients are aware of company business continuity services as well as the policies and procedures associated with said services.
• Leads and provides guidance on business recovery contracts and the control of annual expenditures related to business continuity contracts.
• Manages, develops and provides input to business continuity standards, policies, practices and procedures. Identifies enhancements and implements same as approved.
• Provides leadership and work guidance to less experienced personnel.

Qualification & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems or related field preferred
• Ten or more years of experience in disaster planning and business recovery

Certifications (Preferred)

• Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Scrum Master (CSM).
• Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP).
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Microsoft Azure Administrator.
• ITIL Foundation or IT Service Continuity Management certification.

Technical Skills:
