Job Description

Technical Writer:

Key Responsibilities:
* Technical Writer will collaborate with software engineers and other technical team members to gather information and develop clear and concise troubleshooting guides
* Create and maintain various self-service documentation, including FAQs, how-to guides, and knowledge base articles
* Ensure all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with company standards and best practices
* Review and edit existing documentation to enhance clarity, consistency, and overall quality
* Work closely with the support team to identify common issues and create documentation to address these problems proactively
* Use technical knowledge to translate complex technical concepts into easily understandable content for various audiences
* As a Technical Writer, you will conduct research and interviews to gather information from subject matter experts
* Participate in peer reviews and provide constructive feedback to colleagues
* Stay current with industry trends and advancements to continuously improve documentation quality

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, Communication, Computer Science, or a related field
* 2-4 years of experience as a Technical Writer, preferably in a software development environment
* Minimum 2 years of experience with Markdown
* Minimum 2 years of experience with Excel
* Minimum 2 years of experience with Word
* Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) is a plus
* Familiarity with Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle (SDLC)
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Proficiency in using documentation tools and software, such as Microsoft Word, Confluence, and Markdown editors
* Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
* Strong ability to explain technical concepts clearly and concisely
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience creating multimedia content, such as video tutorials or infographics
* Prior experience in developing documentation for customer support teams
* Knowledge of programming languages and software engineering concepts
