Role: Power BI Lead
Location: Remote (USA)
 
Required Skills:
Proven experience as a Power BI Lead with greenfield implementation of Self-Service Module - setting up and deploying a completely new, from-scratch
Expertise in Azure Analysis Services (AAS) and advanced DAX.
Strong experience with data visualization and self-service BI principles.
Experience with Power Query, ETL, and SQL Server integrations.
Experience with Power BI Service, Dataflows, and Power BI Premium.
Knowledge of data governance and security best practices.
Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate or Azure Data Engineer certification.
Experience with Power BI AI features, Power Apps, and Power Automate.
 
Primary Responsibilities:
Lead the design, development, and deployment of Power BI dashboards and reports, ensuring high-quality data visualizations.
Oversee the greenfield implementation of the Self-Service Module of Power BI, empowering business users to create their own reports and dashboards.
Integrate Azure Analysis Services (AAS) with Power BI for optimized performance and scalability.
Develop advanced DAX calculations and measures to meet business requirements.
Empower business users with self-service BI tools and training.
Oversee data governance, security, and consistency across Power BI solutions.
Mentor Power BI developers, ensuring adherence to best practices.
Collaborate with business teams to align Power BI solutions with business goals
