Job Description

• Design, build, and maintain advanced Tableau dashboards and reports
• Translate business requirements into scalable and efficient Tableau solutions
• Create data models and establish connections to diverse data sources
• Optimize Tableau performance by addressing query efficiency and dashboard responsiveness
• Manage and maintain Tableau Server environments, including security, configurations, and upgrades
• Collaborate with business leaders and stakeholders to understand analytics needs
• Provide technical expertise and recommendations on Tableau capabilities and best practices
• Define and enforce Tableau development standards and governance policies
• Lead efforts to promote Tableau adoption across the organization
• Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for Tableau within the organization
• Mentor junior Tableau developers and analysts

Requirements

• Extensive experience with Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, and Tableau Prep
• Strong understanding of relational databases, SQL, and data warehousing concepts
• Experience optimizing Tableau dashboards for performance and scalability
• Familiarity with integrating Tableau with various data sources from IICS coming from CRM/Veeva Systems and AWS cloud platforms
• Preferred: Tableau certification, experience with scripting languages like Python or R, knowledge of IICS ETL processes and tools, familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
